I don’t want to go to school. What parent hasn’t heard those words? But, Cupcake has never been to school and she’s scared. What lengths will she go to not go to school? This absolutely cute story is fantastic. The story is perfect for that preschooler who is getting ready to attend school. The story is at their level yet does not talk down to them. The illustrations are bright and bold. Little girls will enjoy that Cupcake is a princess so she has a tiara and her mom has a crown. And, everyone, including parents, will have fun trying to find the word Love that is hidden in every picture. It’s not as easy as it sounds because some of them are very well hidden. Even if your child has started school, they will enjoy Cupcake’s antics as she learns school isn’t the scary place she thinks it is.
