Shaughnessy band rides again with this fantastic romance that puts together a bad boy with a perfectionist woman. "One More Promise" is full of misperceptions, disastrous meetings and misunderstandings. There is also some big time guilt trips happening in more than one way. Between all of this, there is an awesome romance that shows that not everyone is who they seem to be. The biggest thing I loved about this story is that fact that people had dreams. They didn’t always know how to get to them or that they were even possible but they were there. This has this story evolving into something that has you questioning your hopes and desires while you are cheering on Dylan and Paige. These two are nothing alike but seem to compliment each other. I loved this story and all of the characters. I really became invested in it and didn’t want it to end. From bossy sister to clueless dad to supportive friends, this book has it all including a sexy lover.
The Story: Dylan is just getting out of rehab. He needed it and never wants to go back again. He knows it’s not going to be easy but he has a lot of amends to make and he’s not sure everyone is going to forgive him. Paige has a fantastic idea for a literacy campaign. Her sister agreed to contact the authors Paige that would help but when she learns that her sister decided that musicians would work better, she is furious. Dylan, not knowing what is happening, is ready to help with the literacy campaign but will Paige let him help?
