Get ready to go on an emotional roller coaster ride, one you’ll never forget. Very quickly, it will become apparent that not everything is as it seems and first impressions don’t always reflect reality. Janie is not a stereotypical cougar. In fact, she’s positive that she doesn’t want a younger man and the fact she’s attracted to one has her worried and confused as to what to do. Everyone knows Tyler is a lady’s man. No one takes him seriously. What diverse characters! Yet, they go together so well. Their relationship brings out their true characters and had me falling in love with them quickly. The secondary characters are such that you can’t wait to know more about them. I don’t know when I’ve enjoyed a book more. One hot sexy cowboy who actually rides in the rodeo plus a youngish widow struggling to keep her ranch and even a cute puppy make this a story you won’t forget and you’ll be left wanting more.
This is a spin off series but it also stands alone. In other words, you don’t have to read any other book to thoroughly and completely love this one. However, if you’ve read One Night with a Cowboy, Two Times as Hot and/or Three Weeks With a Bull Rider you’ll enjoy seeing more of the characters from these books.
Tyler enjoys his job and enjoys his women. Heading out to ladies night at a local bar with a friend is just part of his usual routine. Janie didn’t plan on being a widow at 36 and trying to keep her ranch going isn’t easy, even after selling off most of her herd and letting go her crew. Learning she has a fence down wasn’t news she wanted. Needing a new post, Janie heads out to the local lumber store where she finds Tyler hiding under a tarp. She’s sure there is a story but is Tyler willing to share?
One bucking bronco...Oklahoma ranch hand Tyler Jenkins is too young, too sexy, and too damn wild to be tied down by any single woman--for more than a few steamy hours...One hard-working widow...Widowed rancher Janie Smithwick is too busy paying off her debts to play rodeo with a reckless young cowboy like Tyler--no matter how hot he gets her...One midnight ride they'll never forget...As a rule, Janie should be dating a man her own age, like her handsome neighbor Rohn--not the twenty-four-year old ranch hand he employs. But once Tyler gets Janie alone--held tight in his arms, pressed against his hard muscled body, burning with desire--the widow realizes that some rules, like broncos, are meant to be broken...
