This some what sweet and sappy Christmas is romance is definitely one you’re going to want to read. There is so much more than just a quick forgiveness and life is wonderful going on. In fact, nothing is easy for Jace because Ava isn’t really willing to forgive him. Ava also has a few secrets that Jace may be shocked by. I absolutely loved the mixture of small town nosiness and the remoteness of country living. The characters are fantastic and complex. No one is cookie cutter and some have an emotional roller coaster going on. You soon feel as if you are part of the town watching two well known and loved neighbors trying to figure out what they are doing. From beginning to end, this story made me feel comfortable and gave me warm feelings. I truly enjoyed it. If you want a Christmas story with more to it than a tired retold story, this is the one to read. It’s unique and wonderful.
