Highest Bidder

Mercy, #1

SciFi, fantasy meets romance in this awesome shortish story. From kidnapping to running away, this story is action packed from the first page until its last. There are fights and power struggles. Friendships are strained as loyalties are tested. And, the mystical soul mate is found and not only in dreams. The characters are fantastic and well written. The world is described enough that you get the feel of it which is truly all you need. The sex is as hot as the hero, which is saying a lot! This may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I found it just about perfect. (I really could use another cup! When’s the next book coming out?)

Nava is New Earth’s only chance for survival. She’s been raised by monks to fulfill her duty. She’s also unique in that once she makes love to someone, she becomes the mate that they desire. Dreylan was once a famed Peacekeeper within the Galactic Union until his wife left him for Premier Ipari. Now, he’s the only one who can save Nava who is to mate with the premier. This is the perfect time for revenge but Dreylan has to make choices that may change not only his life but Nava’s and the entire galaxy. How will things turn out? Will New Earth survive? Will Nava find her dream lover?

Book Blurb for Highest Bidder

Premier Ipari, the evil head of the Galactic Union, has stolen everything from Dreylan—his marriage, his career, his entire life. Revenge is finally at hand. Dreylan will take the woman promised to the premier…in the most carnal way possible.

He’s the man of her dreams, and Naya willingly gives Dreylan her body, her heart, her soul. A choice that could leave the fate of her beloved New Earth—and her life—in the balance.

Inside Scoop: This story contains a dark, disturbing, horror-filled scene that may be offensive to some readers. But trust us…the character had it coming.
