Fairies in My Fireplace

A Monster Haven Story, #3

Humor comes across in this story as Zoey struggles to deal with more and more mythical creatures showing up at her house expecting a place to stay. This detail makes this paranormal unique and interesting. Something must be going on or about to happen for all these diverse creatures to be migrating to Zoey’s house. Learning what it is will involve friends who should never even know that these creatures exist! This isn’t a romance, though there is a romantic element in it, but more of a fantasy which covers several books. This isn’t the first book in this series and while you could read it and enjoy it, it would best be enjoyed having read the previous books. Lots of action and adventure join the humor keeping things moving and finding unexpected twists only enhances this story. Death and mayhem make for an interesting couple and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I absolutely love Zoey and her world and can’t wait until I can read more!

Zoey Donovan is the last Aegis left in the country so she’s responsible for protecting the Hidden and keeping them safe. In the last few weeks she’s had all types of Hidden find her home, harpies, djinn and even a dragon. She’s running out of room and yet they still are showing up! Between her wedding planning business and her houseguests, Zoey is getting a bit frazzled. But, when she gets the hint that something or someone is hunting the Hidden, she knows she has to stop them. But, can she stop them before she’s stopped?

A migration of mythical creatures has begun, and more and more of them are landing on Zoey Donovan's doorstep. As the only Aegis left in the country, it falls to her to protect the Hidden and keep them safe—and her house has become a sanctuary for water sprites, goblins, harpies, djinn and more.

Keeping track of her boarders is a full-time job, and Zoey's already got her hands full trying to run her wedding planning business. Good thing she has a resident closet monster to keep her organized, and a hot Reaper boyfriend to help her relax every once in a while.

But she can't keep up monster-triage indefinitely, and as more Hidden arrive, it becomes clear that someone—or something—is hunting them. In the midst of planning an event for a notoriously difficult client, Zoey's got to figure out who's behind the hunt…and she's got to stop them before there are no Hidden left.
