Enchanting the Beast

The Relics of Merlin, #3

This is the third book in a series but don’t let that stop you from reading this excellent fantasy romance. It grabbed my interest almost immediately and kept it until the last page. The characters are fantastic and extremely unique. The world that was built is full of magic, chaos and intrigue. Ghosts play a major part in this story as Phil talks to them. But, those ghosts may not always be friendly. The romance that blossoms isn’t one that anyone expected, especially Phil who is much older than Nicodemus. Yet this romantic interest works. But, I loved the adventure. Why are the ghosts haunting after years of being quiet? What is wrong with Nicodemus’s brother? So many questions with answers scattered throughout the story. Apparently each story in this series stands alone because instead of being confused by events in previous books, I only left this one with the desire to learn more of this marvelous series and world. Whether you like fantasy or romance or historicals, this story should appeal to you!

Werewolf Sir Nicodemus Wulfson is looking for a medium to figure out why the ghosts of his family home are haunting his brother and to get them to stop. When he approaches Lady Philomena Radcliff, he doesn’t expect her to agree nor does he expect to find himself attracted to her. However, Phil agrees to meet him at his home. She also feels that she is way too old to act on their mutual attraction, better to stay professional. But things aren’t always as they seem and soon, Phil is in way over her head.
