The demons are real but may not be like any you’ve ever read about. The Slayers try to reform, instead of kill. And, things aren’t always what they seem making this an interesting change and a funny story.

This second book in Kathy Love’s series centered around fashion magazine Hot! continues in the same off beat fashion as the first book but you don’t need to read the first book to enjoy this one. They do, however, watch them and Hot! is run by demons. Lisa McLane is possessed by a demon and wants him gone. She’s learned if she takes a lot of allergy meds though she can sedate him. Michael finds himself attracted to Lisa and Lisa feels the same way. How can a demon slayer want to be with someone possessed by a demon? He should want to kill them. Humor abounds as these two work on their relationship.

In the background, kind of, is lots of helpers. The Brotherhood of Demon Slayers is trying to help Michael adjust which Michael is trying to hide his relationship. And, there is talk of a demon over throw at Hot!, if Satan doesn’t find out.
