Dead But Not Forgotten

Stories from the World of Sookie Stackhouse

Anyone who loves Charlaine Harris’s Sookie Stackhouse characters will love these fantastic short stories. Each one features a secondary character from the series. Though all of the short stories are written by other authors, each stays true to the character that they are highlighting. I really loved that I could read more about some of my favorite secondary characters and occasionally see more of Sookie. In fact the last story, Widower’s Walk by MaryJanice Davidson takes place well after the original stories ended and is from Eric’s point of view. However, other stories are during different time periods of the original stories which just fills out some of the time periods. Regardless, I thoroughly and completely enjoyed visiting this world and checking out some of my favorite characters……..Quinn, the weretiger, Diantha, the half demon and so many more. Truly, reading this book brought some of these characters into a new light. Absolutely awesome book.

Dead But Not Forgotten has 15 different stories by various authors. Each story is about a secondary character in the Sookie Stackhouse series. The creator of this series, Charlaine Harris edited them and has an introduction in this book. Even though not every beloved secondary character is in this book, there are enough that any fan of the series will find at least one favorite secondary character to learn more about. Get ready to head back to Louisiana and the crazy world of Sookie!
