This anthology is edited by the awesome Delilah Devlin with a forward from well known western writer Beth Williamson. Each story contained in this anthology is a reflection of high standards and terrific writing. From the Australian Outback to remote American ranches to Las Vegas, NV, each story is as unique as it’s author. Historical to modern with sweet to a bit of BDSM, there is something to like for everyone that loves a cowboy. The characters are all well written with strong women who know what they want; and sometimes that’s them in charge while others they want the man to be in charge…….and sometimes they even want a younger man. . I found that I really enjoyed each author’s contribution. And, the title of this anthology doesn’t lie; there is a lot of heat in Cowboy Heat.
To give you a teaser of what you’ll find when you open this book:
Emma Jay has the first story and you’ll find yourself in the old west with an independent widow and her lover the town marshal. Don’t tell anyone as that’s a secret.
Mia Hopkins has you back in the present with Remember. What happens when a stripper shows up at a cancelled bachelorette party?
I won’t go through all 15 of the stories but the last story is part of Myla Jackson’s Ugly Stick Saloon but don’t worry, you don’t have to be a fan of that series to enjoy this story. However, you may want to after reading this one.
You can’t get any better than these 15 fantastic western romances.
They may ride off into the sunset, but cowboys never go out of style. These manly men embody the fiercely independent, earthy alpha male and hero who isn’t afraid to show the gentle, nurturing side of his complex nature when faced with a woman in need. Even when he’s coated with dust from riding behind a herd of cattle or up to his knees in mud freeing a calf from a wallow, this stud still generates a lot of Cowboy Heat. Delilah Devlin's Cowboy Lust was a sensation, hitting the top ten of romance books and generating a river of praise. Award-winning Devlin is back on the ranch with stories of rugged romantics, rough riders, and rope wranglers sure to satisfy any reader who craves the idea of that gruff, romantic hero, a man of few words but many moves. Cowboy Heat sits tall in the saddle, winning hearts and spurring readers to new heights of happiness.
