Claiming His Mate

Black Hills Wolves, #5

Misunderstandings, unexplained murders and secrets are intertwined in this awesome shifter story that will have you laughing and cringing at the same time. Jace has found his mate in Michelle except she’s human. He’ll take it slow until she trusts him. Michelle loves her new friend, Jace. Too bad he’s gay. Can you see where this is going? Oh yeah. The fun is about to start. Unfortunately it also comes with some men wanting to take Michelle’s land and expose the Black Hills Pack. Beautifully written, this book will capture your attention and imagination right from the start. Though short, this story has a big impact. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to read more about the Black Hills Pack.

This story is part of a series but each story can be read without having read any of the other stories. This one though does introduce a subplot which will continue through a few stories. Don’t let that stop you from beginning this wonderful series because each story focuses on one couple.

Jace can’t believe that he’s found his mate and that she’s human. He knows he’ll have to take it slow and gain her trust before he can revile his true nature. Unfortunately, Michelle sees his friendliness as Jace being gay. It will take a threatening event for Jace to show Michelle that not only is he not gay but he’s not human. Will her trust hold or will she run?
