This third book in the Intergalactic Dating Agency series is a bit different from the first two but like them can be read without having read any of the other books in this series or the series they spun off from. This story has a job on the line, a mysterious boss, a determined alien and a confused matchmaker. There is plenty of humor and fun in this sci fi romance where women out number men and aliens are becoming a viable option to marry. Caid knows who he is interested in and it’s not any of the women that he is set up with. Jessie is frustrated. Caid seems to want her but it’s against company rules to date a client. Both characters are written to play off the other. This causes fireworks and sparks as this relationship figures itself out. Though this is a bit different than the previous books in this series, the basic goal is there; a happy ending. There are some surprises that show up that really add to the plot and make things even more stressful. As with the other books in this series, I found this one to be excellent. It’s fun and light hearted yet has enough conflict to keep your interest. I hope there are more to this series as I love these stories and can’t wait to see more.
Caid knew who his mate was as soon as he set eyes on Jessie. For the past six months he has shown up for dates arranged by her but quickly lets those women know that they are not the one. Then, he gets to spend time with Jessie which is worth showing up to dates he knows he won’t go on. Jessie’s job is to match aliens with their perfect partner. She does a great job except for Caid. Now, her boss has given her a deadline, find Caid a mate within two weeks or she’s fired. How is she going to do that when Caid thinks she is his mate? Company rules state that she can’t even date a client much less be one’s mate!
Intergalactic Dating Agency
How to lose an alien in fourteen days
Matchmaker Jessie Hancock has a perfect record helping others find their Mr. or Ms. Right through the Intergalactic Dating Agency until Caid arrives. The sinfully handsome, smooth-talking alien is everything she’s dreamed of—but can’t have. Even if he was interested in a curvy, freckle-faced redheaded wallflower, it’s forbidden for employees to date clients, so she works hard to find him a woman. But when none of the dates meets with his approval, her boss gives her an ultimatum—find Caid a match or else! With her heart breaking and her job on the line, she launches a plan to introduce Caid to a woman he’ll find irresistible.
The instant Caid from planet Dakon lays eyes on Jessie with the beautiful orange hair, he knows the Fates have chosen her for him. To get closer to her, he goes along with her attempts to “match” him with someone else while doing his best to charm her and convince her they’re meant for each other. Despite his efforts, she continues to insist she can’t be his mate. Now time is running out, and if he can’t up his game, he’ll lose her forever.
