Blonde and Owner

Susan Petrauskas is 6 ft. tall and usually ends up dating shorter men. She seldom has a second date with most of them because she can’t be what they expect. However, she’s giving Doctor Bert Norstrum a second chance even if he is only 5 ft. 8 in. When they end up traveling down rural roads to a club in the middle of nowhere, she’s a bit confused even though Bert assures her that she’s going to love it.

The club isn’t like any club Susan has ever been before, it’s a BDSM club. She’s not at all sure she wants to stay especially after seeing a woman whipped by a man and a woman. Bert convinces her to stay assuring her that everything done in the club is consensual. After looking around Susan agrees to stay. She doesn’t see how mild mannered Bert thinks he can dominate her but she’s willing to give it a try. The problem is, Bert doesn’t want to dominate Susan, he wants Susan to dominate him!

This misunderstanding leads to Susan having to decide if she wants to call and pay for a cab home or accept punishment from the club’s former owner, Vincent.

Vincent has had his eye on Susan since she walked into the club and would love to introduce her to his world. She’s curious but can he convince her to let him show her the ropes?

Susan only knows BDSM from fiction books she’s read. Vincent has spent time with just one person in a while. If they don’t communicate, they won’t go anywhere. Can they learn to do that?

First let me state that I love everything that I’ve ever read written by Sindra van Yssel and this story is no different. She is able to quickly grab her reader’s interest and keep it from beginning to end of the story and leave you wanting more.

Her characters are very well done. They are not perfect and things don’t always go without a hitch. Susan is a tall woman who isn’t exactly sure what she is looking for. She does know that Vincent intrigues her and she wants to learn more but she won’t be a doormat for anyone. She is her own person and plans to keep it that way. Vincent owned the BDSM club for quite a while and enjoyed training and working with the subs. He hasn’t had a long term relationship in a while due to no showing favoritism within the club. Now that he’s sold it though, he’s free to find that special someone. Could it be Susan?

The club is described in detail. Did you read the rules? You better have because they are posted all over the place! No excuse for not knowing what you should be or shouldn’t be doing. Susan learns that fairly quickly. Different equipment is used for play and pillows are provided for the subs. Members are vetted and no cameras allowed! Better yet, all the members aren’t 20 something and fit. Some are older and have a bit of extra weight.

The sex is hot as Vincent shows Susan the world of BDSM. She’s not going to like everything, nor should she. But, she has to know what there is before she can decide what she does and doesn’t like. Regardless if they are at the club or elsewhere, Vincent is sure to make sure Susan is taken care of and will definitely make sure you get hot and bothered too.

I truly enjoyed this story about a woman who doesn’t fit society’s expectations. I loved reading about her figuring out what she wanted in a relationship. The compromises that had to be made were perfect as Susan and Vincent’s relationship evolves. This story isn’t that long, less than 140 pages but there is plenty of story packed into those pages!

Sindra van Yssel has done it again. Another awesome story that left me wanting more. Okay, I’d be happy if she gave directions to these great clubs she writes about. (not that I could see myself going but I could daydream. Wait! I already do that.)

Book Blurb for Blonde and Owner

Tall, blonde Susan has had it with short men, or men who think that because she's six feet tall she should be in charge of everything. So when her short date takes her to Excess, a BDSM club, without telling her where they're going, and then wants her to dominate him, she's thoroughly pissed off.

But the club intrigues her. Then she meets the club's former owner. Tall and handsome, he has no intention of letting her be in charge, or even letting her mouth off without a spanking. That's fine for an evening, but can they make it last for longer? A little kinky fun is one thing, but Vincent wants more, and she needs to find out just what he means when he says he wants to be her owner.

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual situations, graphic language, and material that some readers may find objectionable: anal play/intercourse, BDSM theme and elements.
