Bleacke's Geek

Bleacke Shifters, #1

This is a terrific introductory book to a new paranormal series. The humor and unexpected situations take what could be another shifter romance story and turns it into something so much more interesting. The first twist is the shifter is female and is the alpha. The male is human and a definite geek who would never do things like have sex in a public rest room. But, this is even more than Dewi and Ken’s story. It’s an introduction to the pack, its politics and its members. Combined, I was intrigued and enchanted. I fell in love with this entire world and now can’t wait until the next book is published. This is a perfect geek falling in love book as well as a terrific shifter story.

Dewi is on a mission to kill a scumbag when she finds her mate. In her normal no-nonsense manner, she knows she needs to claim her mate and gather him up prior to making her kill so she can stay focused. Dr Heathcliff McKenzie Ethelbert, Ken, thought it was a normal night of grading papers while eating stuffed mushrooms until a hot, sexy woman leads him into the women’s room and has sex with him. Nothing in his life prepared him for this! But when she kills someone on their way out of the restaurant, he’s sure he’s next. Now, how does a Enforcer wolf explain to a vegetarian computer professor that they are mates?

Word of warning: Just because Ken’s a geek and not as strong as Dewi doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have his own strengths. He’s sure to surprise you just like he does the Targhee wolves!

Book Blurb for Bleacke's Geek

When girl meets geek, the fur’s gonna fly.

Dewi Bleacke is a no-nonsense Prime Alpha wolf. As head Enforcer of the Targhee pack, she’s in charge of Florida. Her assignment is to kill a dirtbag who sold his daughter. She doesn’t expect to find her handsome, albeit geeky, soulmate in the process.

Dr. Heathcliff McKenzie Ethelbert lives a quiet, boring life. A professor at USF, he has no girlfriend, no car, and is a devout vegetarian. So when a mysterious woman with mocha eyes literally drags him out of his booth and then proceeds to have her way with him, it’s not his average night out. When she follows their sexy interlude by abducting him after killing a man, he suspects life has just taken a drastically odd turn.

Now Dewi, her partner Beck, and her surrogate father Badger, have to educate her new “grazer” mate on the ways of the Targhee wolves. “Ken” does his best to fit in. But an old killer lurks in the shadows--the wolf who murdered Dewi’s parents. Can she keep Ken safe, or will her mate prove to everyone that he’s a lot more than just Dewi Bleacke’s geek?
