Baby, Be Mine

Thompson & Sons, Bonus Story

OMG This book is awesome. I read about these characters in a 6 Pack Ranch book and thought, wow they should have their own series and now they do! Some references are made about that story but it’s not necessary to read it to love this one. This one totally stands alone. The characters are engaging and so real. Things aren’t always wonderful and there are fights, pasts and all kinds of things that come in to shape the characters and their reactions. And, this is so much more than just a love story….though there are many different types of love in this story. What defines a dad? Gage has to figure this out and by doing so has to face his past. And, what kind of role does family play in adult children’s lives? Lots of issues and lots of decisions. This feels like a very realistic view of this couple’s life and even with all the ups and downs, it comes out perfect. Plus, there is lots of hot sex, tender moments and a few other romances/crushes happening in Rocky. This book is a must read for any who loves romance and a fantastic first book in a new series. I can’t wait to read more.

Katy has had a crush on Gage since her teens but he hasn’t noticed her. But, yes he has. Not when she was a teen but much more recently but Katy was been in a relationship with Simon so Gage hasn’t made any moves or said anything. When he learns that Katy and Simon have broken up, Gage makes his move, even knowing that he will be leaving to work up north for the next 6 months. Due to a better opportunity opening up, Gage is able to return in 2 months but comes back to Katy no remembering anything about their night together and she’s pregnant. So, who’s the father? Gage, who Katy doesn’t remember having sex with or Simon, her ex.

Book Blurb for Baby, Be Mine

What the mind forgets, the heart remembers.

Since the moment Katy Thompson transformed from annoying tagalong to desirable woman, Gage Jenick has awaited his chance. When she kicks her boyfriend to the curb, he doesn’t hold back—in spite of the next-day work assignment that will take him completely off the grid for two long months.

After a head injury sustained on a storm-swept road, Katy can’t remember her own email password, much less how the little pink “positive” on the pregnancy stick got there. Barring an influx of midi-chlorians, she’s at a loss to explain what happened, or when...or with whom.

Suddenly Gage is back in her life as if he has a right to be there. While she vividly remembers the crush she had on him, she’s no one’s charity case. But another thing she’d forgotten was just how stubborn Gage can be—especially when her domineering ex tries to stake a claim…

Warning. An unforgettable night that gets forgotten. A crazy redneck ex, and a hero who’s ready to take on the world, and his past, for his heroine.
