This is the second book in a series about the Intergalactic Dating Agency. However, I was able to read and enjoy this story without having read the previous one. It is well thought out and easy to follow. Each story obviously stands alone and is focused on the main couple. The world developed is explained within the story making is seamless and doesn’t feel as if you are just getting information. Toni is a strong woman who wants love, not just a marriage. Her sister has that with an alien showing Toni that it is possible. Aton knows Toni is his one and only love. He is willing to do anything to be with her, even if it isn’t exactly legal. These are two strong characters who mesh together well. Because they are from two very different cultures, there are some humorous scenes. There is also a bad guy who really isn’t expected. I liked this futuristic story and the dating agency. It was fun and lively. I’ll be reading the previous story and future stories. This is definitely a must read for those who like quirky romance.
Toni is engaged to get married to a lawyer in the company where she works. However, when she sees how happy her sister is with an alien she met through the Intergalactic Dating Agency she decides to call off her wedding and try for an alien match. Soon, Toni is matched with an alien from Dakon, where women are scarce. For some reason Aton, her match, is not cleared to come to Earth. When he shows up expectantly, Toni is interested. Aton, on the other hand, knows that Toni is his perfect match. But, how did he get to Earth and is he going to get to stay?
Intergalactic Dating Agency
For an alien and a human girl, all’s fair in love and courtship…
Attorney Toni Sutterman is on the fast-track, her success all but an open-and-shut case when she realizes she lacks what’s really important: true love. With marriage-minded men in short supply on planet Earth, she joins the Intergalactic Dating Agency hoping to find a good match with an extraterrestrial. When her alien mate finally arrives, he proves beyond all doubt to be the man of her dreams: tall, sexy, romantic, and totally devoted to her. So what if there’s a bit of gray area about how he actually got here?
Aton of planet Dakon doesn’t mean to pull a fast one. He has every intent to play by the rules until false accusations get him escorted from the spaceship just before it blasts off. Neither spurious allegations nor the vastness of space will keep him from his mate, so he makes his own way to Earth to claim the female he was promised. As soon as he sees Toni, he recognizes her as his Fated mate. Confident he’s acted in good faith, he focuses on courting her and beginning their life together.
But when a rival discovers the truth and administers some rough justice, will Toni be willing to break the rules and become Aton’s partner in crime to save their future…or will she play by the book?
