If you like wolf shifter turn to Lori O'Clare to always deliver. Here wolves are strong and have attitude and the wolves in Til Death are no different. Some you will want to scratch the eyes out of and others you will be cheering all the way.
Til Death is part of the Werewolves of Malta series. This is book six in the series, but can nicely stand-alone. This is the Alpha Dimitri's story and wow is he hot. The clan is still trying to get rights to their land and establish themselves on their plot of land. Dealing with the government is never easy and it's no different for the wolves. So, Dimitri is dealing with the government and some other personal problems in his pack. The Malta Werewolves have to keep strong as there is quite a bit of discrimination against them not just by humans, but also by other werewolf packs. Many in the Malta pack have special powers that other wolves do not have. Some can melt snow and mind chat. Dimitri does not have this gift and he almost has a fear of it.
Rosa and her mother have recently joined Dimitri's pack. Rosa has the special powers and wants to put a claim on Dimitri. When a promiscuous shewolf tries to sleep with Dimitri Rosa pulls out the claws.
I loved the tension is this book and how everything wasn't so easy for the Malta Werewolves. Also, the relationship between Dimitri and Rosa was not easy either. These two were ferocious and when a shewolf feels her space is being invaded she steps up and will take down the competition. I love that in a heroine.
Dimitri Spalto fought to be pack leader of the Malta werewolves. Now he must fight to keep his pack from falling apart and becoming prey to the prejudice that surrounds them. First he must deal with other breeds discriminating against Malta werewolves. Then Dimitri is forced to come face-to-face with the prejudice that lies within him.
Malta werewolves are special, and feared, because of the extrasensory gift many of them have…except for Dimitri. His grudge against the gift he could never master might prevent him from seeing how he really feels about beautiful Rosa Anthony. Acknowledging his hatred toward her den is simple. But realizing that the only way he can have her for his mate is to overcome that anger takes all the strength he possesses. And the clock is ticking. He can have Rosa until death, but only after bellying up to his nemesis…and saving his pack before it's too late.
