The Accidental Werewolf

The Accidental Series, Book 1

When a Bobbie-Sue associate, aka May Kay in our world, gets bit by a werewolf her life slowely starts to change. Marty Andrews does not want to believe that she is changing and is in total denial of the situating. It takes a whole lot of convincing to make Marty accept that her life has to change and that she can no longer trot around the town like a debutant. If she screws up and lets people see her change she would be endangering her new pack. Even though most her new pack mates hate her she has to protect them or she is toast. Marty can no longer take care of her clients and this really frustrates her. She has a life plan to make it to the top at Bobby-Sue and now her life is all messed up. What's a werewolf make-up lady going to do? Luckily she has a sexy alpha to help her along the way.

The wolf that bit her is none other than Keegan the pack leader and owner of the famous cosmetics company Pack Cosmetics. Pack is no door-to-door company, but has world recognition and space in retail stores. This situation makes it hard for Marty. She feels like she works for the competition. Marty doesn't just have her change to deal with, but work matters also. Marty is a turned werewolf and that's not common at all. Most werewolves are true bloods. With all of these matters pummeling Marty she is about to blow. When someone starts trying to kill Marty the situating ramps up to another degree. How will Marty deal with all of this pressure and stress? With the help of a strong alpha she can make it all the way.

The Accidental Werewolf was a fun and wacky look at a person in denial. Marty didn't want to believe that she was changing, but when she gets faced with a nubbin of a tail she can no longer believe she is unchanged. Ms. Cassidy had me in stitches and a bit frustrated over how Marty just couldn't believe the situation. I know people like Marty. No matter what you tell them they do not want to believe it and will continue on as if nothing has happened. So, Marty was a character that was very believable. Ms. Cassidy will have you feeling lots of emotion. If you are looking for a fun Chick-Lit book, with a dose of the paranormal, pick this one up for a day of fun and laughs.
