Sarah is a thoughtful and helpful woman whose family members all die young. She is the last of her line and hopes that the she is the exception, but when she starts having pains it’s obvious that it’s her time. When Death, aka Cain, shows up to claim her soul she tells him that she just isn’t ready. Yes, Sarah is one gutsy and strong woman. She can’t leave earth yet as she has a homeless shelter to build. She questions Cain about who she has to sleep with to get a few more weeks. I must say that scene was hilarious. It just turns out that she is standing in front of the guy who can giver her that time, but it’s not as simple as asking and receiving. When Cain gives her the extra time, but takes her soul there is hell to pay of the heavenly kind. Will Sarah be taken away from Cain before she finishes the shelter and wins his heart? Since Cain has broken the law by allowing Sarah to live past her date, he will also have to pay for extending her life. Will these two survive what heaven has in store for them?
