Inkspirations for Women has to be one of my top 10 favorite coloring books. The pictures inside were a real pleasure to color. They are fun and lively. I had a really hard time choosing which picture to color first, second, etc. In less than a week I've colored over ten and I've got a stack of pictures to continue with.
This book has a variety of awe-inspiring mandalas as well as pictures of animals and flowers. Colorists should get out their warm and vibrant colors for this book.
This book is focused towards women, but I feel even men colorists will enjoy many of the drawings within its pages.
I also loved how the author provides a page of instruction on how you too can make your own mandalas.
These are hand drawn images, so don't expect that everything from left to right will be the same shape, size or width. These are not computer generated images and the author is not a computer. With this book, you really feel close to the artist as you see that she is human. Circles are not the same shape from spot to spot and you have to carry on with sometimes different shadings. But in the end that makes this book show the humanness behind it.
So I give a bow to the artist of this book. Well done. Thanks for providing me hours of fun.
