"Caring for Your Lion" is such a cute children's book. It's geared for those three to seven years old and has 32 colorful and engaging pages. The cover pretty much sums up how vibrant and fun this book is.
On the cover we have a lion being fed a hamburger by a boy. The boy had actually ordered a cat, but instead gets sent a lion as all the cats are out of stock. The author and illustrator did a great job of explaining the reason for the BIG box on the doorstep of the kids home by providing a sticky note letter on the box. Oh boy is he in for a surprise.
As the pages turn you will be cracking a smile. There are just so many great situations. The boy tries to figure out what to feed his new feline as well as how to potty train his lion. Will a 100 pound bag of cat litter work? Maybe! And what about taking care of a lions fur? How do you clean a lion? Well the boy has some ideas and they had me laughing all the way till the end.
If you and your kid like to laugh, then pick up "Caring for Your Lion".
What happens when you expect an itty-bitty kitty . . . but get a lion instead?
It’s kitten delivery day, but—SURPRISE. Congratulations on your new LION! We know you ordered a kitten, but we ran out of those. Fortunately, the big cat comes with instructions—like, try very hard NOT to look like a zebra. Or a gazelle. And give your lion PLENTY of space to play. But soon the feathers and fur start flying and everything’s in chaos. Is there any way a lion could actually be a child’s purr-fect pet?
