Born of Night takes us on a journey to another time and galaxy. I awaited this books arrival with anticipation. For many of us Kenyon fans, Born of Night is a breath of fresh air. The Dark Hunter books have been fabulous, but it’s nice to have a change. Born of Night exceeded my expectations and has opened me up to explore another genre more in depth. Science Fiction Romance is fascinating and Kenyon has a gripping and sensual take on this genre. It’s time to dive into space exploration, alien species and sexy assassins. Space is our next frontier and I hope to see more of these types of books on shelves. The League is a series that really rocks with dark heroes, fun heroines and great secondary characters. Born of Night has a solid plot and I just loved the whole universe and characters. Once I got past that this was not a paranormal and something new I was sucked into the book and when it ended I was yearning for the next book. I so need my next fix of The League. Luckily the first three books are coming out back to back and maybe Kenyon will add on more to the series.
Born of Night has an interesting history. This was the first book that Kenyon wrote and it has been published before. Since the last publication it has changed a lot, as have the other books in the series. The first editions were even sold to different publishers and characters names had to be changed so that these stories would not look like they were from the same series. I’m happy to say that the books now will flow together, but Kenyon says they can each be read individually and out of order.
Ok so for a bit about what the book is about, but not too much.
