She lives only for revenge until the day love comes back into her life and promises to rescue her from her misery. However, the mate who forced her isn't about to let her go.

Devon died on the battlefield only to be reborn as a creature of the night. He fights to stay away from his one true love, but when he caves to his desire and sees her again, he discovers redemption is possible even for one who walks in darkness.Warning: Contains scenes of violence toward the heroine and mentions of rape that might be offensive to some readers. Cruz's Salvation by Stacey Kennedy

Cruz understands torment. A mortal turned vampire in the war, he has suffered untold loneliness and despair. That is until he meets Kiara-a werewolf he's forbidden to love.

Though Kiara needs Cruz, and wants him forever, werewolves and vampires are bitter enemies. To make matters worse, her Alpha, also her father, suspects that Kiara pines for a mate. Mistaking her sadness for the longing she feels for Cruz, he sets out to give her all the happiness he can provide.Together, Kiara and Cruz will have to fight against the rules placed upon them to hold onto their love. But an unwanted visitor creates a complication neither of them planned for. Milo, Kiara's chosen mate, has come to stake his claim. Now, not only are lives at risk, but hearts are threatened and dreams hang in the balance.

Both stories take place in a common town, but more importantly share a link between the characters both of werewolf and vampire lineage that left me cheering for both creatures of the night by the end of the book!

I have read every book available by Stacey Kennedy, yet this is my first book by Eve Langlais. Both authors have delivered an anthology that weaves together so seamlessly that one story flows into the next with out any effort. While Ms. Kennedy is already on my must-read list, I have now added Ms. Langlais and look forward to checking out all further books from both authors!

Two talented authors, Two emotionally charged stories, one roller-coaster ride of sensuality, mixed with a love so strong it forever changes four lives.

I loved the unique twist of discovering how the authors created an anthology tethered together by more than an overall theme. These two authors created a rich world with characters I fell for and two stories based on such profound love that I was left with thoughts of just how powerful love really is long after I finish the book. While the story is based on forbidden love between werewolf and vampire, both authors touched upon deeper themes that enriched the characters further which brought them to life within my mind's eye. I found it a nice twist to read about characters actually living through situations that are far less than perfect with pasts that are just as gritty. The strength of both heroines of the stories, for me, served as an example of how to be strong in life and I love being able to take lessons out of what I read. It is what makes reading a pure joy for me. While the women are strong, their counterparts are just as strong, yet they are not afraid to show the deep love they feel for the woman in each of their lives. It is very touching and speaks of inner strength to see a man have so much love for their mates that they will give up the one they want to be with if it means it is for the better. The romantic ties between the characters runs thick throughout both stories which lead to many heated moments that left me secretly wanting a vampire of your own! I also got to see the real bond of family at work and that is something truly magical. There was not one twist, outcome or word that I did not like from cover to cover in this anthology!
