Love Me Twice

Lothario Series, #3

SUMMARY:

Sean Callahan came aboard to do his brother Ryan a favor, and ended up the man in charge when both Ryan and Richard left the ship with the women they love. The last thing he needs is a complication, and Celeste is definitely a complication. Once upon a time Celeste had been part of his team as well as his lover, but after a disaster of a mission, and the realization that the other member of his team, Drew was in love with her too, she'd disappeared. Now she was back, and Sean was trapped on the Lothario, his brother's floating bordello, with the woman he still loves, as well as Drew. Some women have all the luck. Celeste just isn't one of them. All the luck she seems to have is the bad kind. How else can you explain ending up on a ship with the two men she's tried to forget for the last five years? Even worse, not a thing has changed. She still loves them both. Leaving them behind only postponed the decision she knows she has to make. Celeste has one week to choose between Sean and Drew, or tell both of them goodbye, this time for good.

TEASER:

Slowly, he relaxed his fingers and let the crumpled fabric slip from his hand. With his index finger, he commanded the thin veil of gold to bunch to one side, and slide over her hip to pool on the bed.

FIRST LINE:

"Let Drew love you, too."

Celeste froze. Sean's words, spoken in a whisper as coarse as the desert sand, sent a shiver of arousal along her spine and a chill of certainty to her heart.

PLOT:

A unique and tantalizing story of love lost and found. Three souls believing death knocking at their door find a second chance at love and life....but with at twist. And it doesn't stop there! The author sprinkles in a terrorist plot that jacks up the pace of the story!

What I found the most interesting about Ms. Lee's latest release is how she took a menage love story and gave it a twist that I didn't see coming. I loved it!

I will say that in the middle I had a hard time accepting the change of how things were developing between the three main characters versus how I wanted things to develop between Drew, Sean and Celeste. However I held in there because I had to know the why behind everything. From the other person that stepped into the picture (how is that for a teaser!) to why it took them five years to come back together. And while Celeste is struggling with her feelings towards both men after trying to forget them and move on with her life for the past five years, she is also on-board the Lothario hunting a terrorist. As FBI she is on a mission to apprehend this person but with all the emotional turmoil this proves to be a challenge. When you mix all this together it adds fire to an already sizzling story, delivering a fabulous plot filled to the brim with everything your fantasies are filled with and then some you might not have ever considered....just maybe. By the end the author answers the most pressing questions concerning Sean, Drew and Celeste, BUT she does so in a way that leaves me wondering what she has in store for these three characters in the future.

SETTING:

Aboard the fabulous and luxurious Lothario cruise ship where your wildest fantasies can always come true!

WRITING:

Ms. Lee never lets me down with her attention to the smallest of details. From her debut novel, The Lust Boat, to her latest book, Love Me Twice, I consider her writing style top notch. The sensuality that courses throughout the entire book brings the characters and their story to life. Yet, not only does the author give us scorching fantasies, she also delivers an entertaining story filled with real emotion. And at times she delivers us a story beyond what any author has written before. Love Me Twice is one of those books and that is what has earned it as my favorite of the entire series!

CHARACTERS:

Celeste, a former spy turned FBI agent. While I might not share the same profession and background as Celeste I still felt I could connect with her. Her strength and control showed through when needed yet she also had a side where she needed to relinquish that control. I saw her as a woman wanting to be loved, afraid to reach out and take it but yearning for it so bad that her dreams are filled with nothing else. Sean and Drew, one Army the other Navy, both love Celeste to no ends. I loved how Sean knew what Celeste needed as a Dom, and at the same time gentle with her as if she was a treasure to be cherished. Drew gave her the other half of what she desired as an equal in and out of the bedroom. Both men definitely knew how to deliver the sex appeal and keep me as a reader engrossed in their story.

LAST THOUGHTS:

As I said before I absolutely loved this story and rate it as my favorite of the series. You have a romance that is hotter than molten lava and an interesting man hunt all in one story! If you love the wilder side of erotic and a romance that will leave you in awe, this author, this story is for you!
