Brandi is disturbed by Sheila and senses all might not be over between the estranged couple. Reluctantly, Brandi breaks off her relationship with Link and seeks solace.
The Temp is a short story, somewhere between a sensual and erotic romance. The writing is clear and concise, the plot a bit predictable. The general story is lovely, but I like my romance, especially erotics, a bit more lacey and lilting. I know this is a short story, but I feel it deserved so much more. To me, it would have been a more powerful read if the author had fleshed out the characters a bit more and expanded the length.
