The Trouble With Tessa
Almost thirty-five year old Erin Sanders is the caretaker for her sick father and a counselor. At the advice of a friend she starts having phone sessions with a man named Tanner. Erin has been lonely and during the holidays has been spending time with her family and dealing with annoying patients.
Tanner and Erin spend a while getting to know each other better. Erin finds out that Tanner is a children’s author and that Tanner's teenage niece needs help. Tanner wants Erin to pretend to date him on the chance that she can connect with Tessa.
After spending time with both Tanner and Tessa, Erin helps Tanner and Tessa find a house for them to live in. Also after a time they find out that they are really attracted to each other and start to date for real. But, suddenly Tanner and Tessa are distant from her and Erin fears the worse.
I liked the characterizations in The Trouble with Tessa and how Tanner and Erin’s relationship slowly built. Tessa played a very realalistic role in this story. This is a feel good story that will have you caring for the characters.
