Julie Shields is looking to marry. She also has to save two dogs from dying. She soon meets Nick Worthington while at the airport. He flies planes and she is hoping that he will take her where she wants to fly. She needs his help so that she can stand a chance in saving the dogs from dying an awful death.
The problem is tolerating him. She does not like how he acts at first. And she is in a rush to find the one. He may also be into illegal activities. And we must not forget he also has a girlfriend. Will Julie and Nick be able to fall in love? Even with all the problems that lie ahead… Will Julie find true love and save the dogs from an early death. Or will it turn into a disaster that she will not be able to prevent. And will everything turn in her favor or will she be without the dogs and the husband to?
I enjoyed the Dog Nanny from its slow romance to all the twists and turns. I enjoyed the relationship between Julie and Nick...and of course the cute dogs were the icing on top.
Doggy do-gooder Julie Shields has one month to save two delinquent poodles from becoming doggies of divorce. A self-proclaimed born-again virgin with a biological clock running out of juice, she also needs to find a husband.
When hunky pilot Nick Worthington arrives at the Abilene airport to fly her to Waco, he sends Julie into a tailspin. But he also may be a drug trafficker and smuggler of illegal aliens. Not only that, he’s involved with another woman.
Julie's quest for a suitable husband leads to several misfires. Only Nick leaves her panting for more. Will she have to put a choke chain on him before the month is out?
