Detective Payce Halligan has a new partner in Gavin Mcallister. She works for the Las Vegas police and her boss name is Charlie Bowman. The other detectives are Nicholas Kincaid, James Murray and lastly the coroner Georgene Channing. They are all part of her team and they all help her out. They are basically a CSI team. Payce and Gavin are now searching for a killer. They are in temporal phase suit uniforms that keep the moisture away.
Payce leaves Gavin with the OctoWheeler to drive. They find their first victim hanging upside down on two beams. The beams are set-up like a cross and the victims ankles are cut. The area is draped in white linen and all of the victims keep dying in a similar way. Now the team has found the letters C and A. Also, there are cuts through the stomach. Other clues are also left behind.
Soon their clues lead them to a religious center. They search a resort and come up with nothing substantial. They do find a girl that is too scared to talk. Another clue they find is that all the girls are blond and of a similar age.
You will have to read the whole story to see where all these clues are heading and how they all tie into each other. You won’t be disappointed in the outcome.
Crucifying Angel is a great story. There is a lot of action and a nice set of clues and a deep mystery. I enjoyed the main characters Gavin and Payce as well as the cliffhanger. Readers, consider checking this book out! I’m looking forward to the next book in this stunning new suspense series.
