A Wish Granted

Krista Farrell’s husband, Joe, has been dead for eight months. He was killed in a car accident and she still feels some grief over it. Now it’s close to the holidays and she is having problems with her car not starting.

She decides to walking in the cold, but luckily on the road she stops a tow truck. The driver looks like Santa Claus and is named CJ. He begins to try to start the truck, but has no luck. So reluctantly Krista walks some more and finds another man on road. Jeffery Bower is also having car problems. To add to their problems the cell phones are not working.

With all of the snow Krista and Jeffery end up staying together in a cabin. They spend time getting to know each other, eating and just having a good time. Their attraction sparks.

Will Krista and Jeffery fall in love despite Krista grief about her husband? Read and find out?

All three characters, Krista, Jeffery and CJ were fun characters to get to meet. The chemistry between Jeffery and Krista snapped and sparked and surely warmed them up. This was a feel good story with a bit of Christmas and the holiday’s worked in. The touch of angst was also a nice, but I did feel that the pace was a bit fast. Overall, still a wonderful read for the season.
