Take A Chance On Me

A Something New Novel, #1

Runaway bride stories are generally not my favorites, but there was something about this one that had me deciding I had to try it. I’m glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was refreshing and funny with characters I adored and some hot alpha males I wanted to know better.

I loved Maddie and Mitch. They were witty, sarcastic and hard not to enjoy…especially when they were together. They both had baggage: Mitch for falling for unavailable women that become his downfall and Maddie for losing herself after her father died, but the moment they were together they managed to push away the black cloud that hung over the other. They made each other want to be better, to be the people they were supposed to be before they were derailed, to love and irritate each other until their last days.

Maddie and Mitch’s story was fun, emotional and very sexy. The cast of characters Jennifer Dawnson created were perfect and made me want to visit small town Revival, Illinois. If you like Jill Shalvis, you’ll truly enjoy TAKE A CHANCE ON ME. I personally look forward to more from this series and author.
