Boston Avant-Garde

Encore is a contemporary romance, with erotic elements, that has all the makings of an emotionally gripping read that should have pulled the reader into the lives of the central characters Suri, Dante and Jericho. Instead, it seemed the author rushed through certain plot points to move the story along.

Suri, Dante and Jericho all had emotional issues that made their threesome complex. While Dante may have been comfortable with his sexuality and attraction to both Suri and Jericho, it wasn’t necessarily that comfortable for the other two. Dante was a very complex character with a complex past that I think could have brought a much more emotionally challenging aspect to this story, had it been given time to grow. The same could be said for Jericho’s feelings for Dante. While they were discussed, it felt like Jericho should have had a bit more turmoil with what was happening before he understood what he was feeling. I wanted to be inside the characters heads more and see them open up to each other more outside the bedroom.

Suri O’Callaghan is a cello instructor by day and a stripper at night, trying to earn enough money to ensure her mother receives the best medical care possible while scrapping by herself. But when her night time identify collides with her day time one, Suri finds herself seeking solace in the arms of her boss, Dante and his head of security, Jericho. What was meant to be one night ends up being something none of them can forget or give up.

Book Blurb for Encore

A full time cellist and part time stripper, Suri O’Callaghan views love a lot like she does unicorns. Her consuming family issues barely leave her time to sleep, much less chase rainbows. When a chance encounter gives her a night of no holds barred sex with her boss and his head of security, she figures it’s a one-time thing. She’s just glad her dry spell is officially over. She never expected to fall for two men who come complete with their own sets of baggage.

Dante Torres and Jericho Davies have spent years watching each other’s backs. Their lives depend upon it. One night of shared sex with one of the strippers in their upscale club will change everything. They will reconsider everything, their sexuality, their trust issues, and even their own safety for a chance to make Suri a permanent part of their lives.

Normal relationships are hard enough. If all three people involved have multiple identities, nutty families, and psycho stalkers, it’s enough to make a girl go crazy. When the end result is the chance to spend a lifetime loving the two hottest guys on the Boston club scene, the perks are to die for.
