Blood Secret

Lady Lucy Drake discovers that her brother, Jack, the Earl of Wrenfield, is thirty thousand pounds in debt to the Duke of Greystone. In order to save herself and her sisters from the poor house, she barters with the Duke with the only thing she has left of value...her virginity.

Sinjin, the Duke of Greystone, a vampire and a dragon slayer, is intrigued with Lucy's offer, but he needs her for more than one night of pleasure. He knows Lucy is a dragon shifter and needs her to tell him where to find his nephew, who was kidnapped by her family. His plan, after retrieving that information and his nephew, is to kill all of the Drakes, including Lucy. He doesn't count on his feelings for Lucy growing past lust or for him to discover that everything he has believed may not be true.

Lucy and Sinjin were absolutely perfect for each other. They had both suffered from tragedies that molded them into the adults they were today. While their relationship may have started unconventionally, they were both enamored with the other enough to realize they couldn't let go of the other. It took their kindred spirits to help them overcome their prejudices and who they are, not what they are.

I really enjoyed this story. The mix of erotic, historical and paranormal romantic elements had me reading quickly and turning the page hoping for another erotic liaison between Sinjin and Lucy, more information about what Lucy's family was doing with Sinjin's family, or what was up with the dragon slayers. Sharon Page is a new author to me, but definitely one that I will look to read more from in the future.
