Stop whatever you're doing right now and read Falling Away by Penelope Douglas. If you haven't started this series, do it now! I'm not kidding. This book completely blew that away. I couldn't out it down, even though I really needed sleep. This book was an unbelievably enjoyable read! I recommend it to all lovers of New Adult, and Contemporary Romance.
Falling Away is a fast paced, yet passionate story, and both lovely and intense. I knew it was going to be a struggle to read Jax's story. He had a really sad back-story, which was hinted at in the previous novels, so I knew his character wasn't going to be easy to deal with while reading. However, he is so worth the struggle! Jax is a beautiful disaster, and such a complete character. I think he's my favorite character of all the boys within The Fall Away Series. The character K.C. moved me and I empathized with her troubles. She definitely made me cry, because she is so raw. She was beautifully written.
K.C. knows that she must steer clear of Jaxon Trent. Jax can only bring trouble, and K.C.’s mother only accepts the best. She has to stay clean, and respectable. When K.C.'s suddenly in trouble and back home, it's hard for her to avoid Jax when he lives right next door
From the New Adult sensation and New York Times bestselling author of Rival
