Beautiful Beginning by Chrisina Lauren is the third, and final, novella for the Beautiful Bastard series. While I have had issues with the other novellas I enjoyed this one so much more. It is probably my favorite novella out of all of them.
This is the final piece to the entire series, and Christina Lauren use it to tie off Chloe and Bennett's story. It brings everyone to a great ending and what better way to end the series than with Chloe and Bennett's wedding, since they're the ones who initiated the whole series.
It was great to be able to reconnect with Chloe and Bennett, and it reminds me of why I fell in love with the first book, and the entire series. Chloe and Bennett still fight, and they still have passion. But they also have their doubts and fears. It was very real, and raw. Christina Lauren did a great job of bringing this all to life.
Everyone from the other novels appear together in one place, and it was still an adventure. Even though they tried to make the wedding happen as smoothly as possible, hijinks ensued. It takes a great amount of effort to create an ending readers will like, and agree with. In that respect the writing duo did a beautiful job!!
The Beautiful Bastard series continues in this new novella—back when not being able to stand each other also meant not being able to keep their hands of each other, neither Bennett nor Chloe could have seen this day coming.
An exasperated bride who just wants to elope. A determined groom whose only focus is getting to the wedding night. And—of course—a whole lot of name calling.
