“The Best Ever” was just an OK read for me. It was a bit stilted and the plot was basic. The chemistry between Jason and Blake was a little slow developing. That was because Jason didn’t know Blake was attracted to him when they were younger and suddenly he was and Jason was really a bit of a wimp. I finished the book because I wanted to know if they did or didn't get together in the end. Some will like the story because it’s part of the One Night Stand encounter series. I haven't read much of that series because a lot of the books are MF romances. I mostly read M/M. If you like the series you might also enjoy this one.
