Sticks & Stones

Cut & Run Series, #2

When Ty and Zane are sent on vacation to get their heads on straight after the serial killer murders in New York City, they think things will go smooth. It’s suppose to be a little hiking and camping with Ty's father and brother, even though it’s a little cold in the Appalachian mountains.

Things go from just cold to down right dangerous when the group stumbles on treasure hunters who will kill to keep their find from failing into the authorities hands. Ty and Zane are able to out wit the treasure hunters and are trying to trek out of the mountains. All of them are bruised and battered but willing to go when a mountain lion attacks and gravely injuries Ty.

Can Zane and Ty's father get them out of the mountains and to safety before Ty succumbs to his injuries or will Zane loose Ty?

Sticks and Stones is just as good a story as “Cut and Run” it keeps you on the edge trying to figure out what’s going to happen next and are they going to make it out alive? The few love scenes that are in the story are well written though a bit rough and go very well with the main storyline. Just when you thought it was safe to hiking? Well Madeleine and Abigail make you wonder. I liked Sticks and stones as well as I did “Cut and Run” and I look forward to the next installment to see what more trouble Zane and Ty can get into.

Well Done Madeleine and Abigail.

Book Blurb for Sticks & Stones

Six months after nearly losing their lives to a serial killer in New York City, FBI Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett are suffering through something almost as frightening: the monotony of desk duty. When they're ordered to take a vacation for the good of everyone's sanity, Ty bites the bullet and takes Zane home with him to West Virginia, hoping the peace and quiet of the mountains will give them the chance to explore the explosive attraction they’ve so far been unable to reconcile with their professional partnership.

Ty and Zane, along with Ty’s father and brother, head up into the Appalachian mountains for a nice, relaxing hike deep into the woods... where no one will hear them scream. They find themselves facing danger from all directions: unpredictable weather, the unrelenting mountains, wild animals, fellow hikers with nothing to lose, and the most terrifying challenge of all. Each other.
