Face Value

Sanctuary Book 3

When Beckett's parents die he finds out that he was adopted as a child. He gets a letter from his birth mother and he finds out that his father and uncles are corrupt and dangerous to him. So he tries to get the evidence his mother left for him to find.

When Beck is nearly killed by his relatives, he's rescued by the Sanctuary and sent to a safe house to heal and recover. Dr. Kayden Summers is the most beautiful man Beck has seen in a long time, but being injured he can't do anything about it. When Beck finds out though that he needs to team up with Kayden to get the evidence, Hayden and Beck end up again on the run until Beck's uncle is apprehended and put in jail. Can Hayden and Beck find safety as well as love or will they have to run for their lives again?

Face Value was a little confusing going in as I hadn't read the other Sanctuary books. So if you are new to this series do read them in order or go into it with an open mind and know that not everything will be explained. I did enjoy this story overall for both the suspense and romance elements. I recommend this story for lovers of romantic suspense.

Book Blurb for Face Value

Beckett Jamieson discovers he is adopted when a lawyer hands him a letter from his mother on his twenty-first birthday. His real name is Robert Bullen, but the Bullen family is involved in criminal activity of the worst kind. He decides to bring them down but ends up badly beaten and temporarily blinded. A Sanctuary agent takes him to a safe house to heal.

Doctor Kayden Summers, Sanctuary operative, is not happy about being stuck in the middle of nowhere with an unconscious man. When Beckett wakes, the situation goes from bad to worse. Beckett does not trust him, is as determined as ever to find the evidence his mother hid, and on top of all that, Kayden finds himself attracted to the determined young man.

Can they overcome their issues and eliminate the threat from the Bullen brothers?
