In the past:
Sabina is a child. She is given to the emperor as a dragon-maid. While she is growing up she knows that she is destined to become mad.
Cordain, the copper dragon of the emperor, feels more for the dragon-maid Sabine then he should. Dragons are forbidden to feel anything.
Sabina is trying to find the copper dragon Cordain. He is now in human form. She must bring him back to the capital city to help restore the peace to a torn country.
Cordain is trying to find peace after becoming a man. He knows that Sabina is looking for him. When she finds him she finds betrayal as well in the hands of the enemy.
The enemy wants to use the Copper Dragon for its own means. It’s conquer or be conquered. Cordain and Sabina try to flee to safety.
Will they find peace together or will the past catch up with them in war?
Jade Lee’s Dragonbound is a great continuation of this fascinating dragon series. It was just as good as Dragonborn. I truly enjoyed this sweeping tale of love and enjoyed getting to know what became of Cordain. The story explained a lot of what made Cordain and how Sabina came into Dragonborn as well. I enjoyed the sensual and hot love scenes and boy where they hot. WOW!
Horrific are a dragon’s claws, its fiery breath and buffeting wings. Potent is its body, fraught with magic down to the very last glistening scale. But most fearsome of all is a dragon’s cunning—and the soul that allows it to bond with humans.
Sabina was the one girl of her generation chosen as Dragonmaid, friend and caregiver to the copper dragon of her nation’s tyrant king. There she witnessed the greed, lust and rage such a beast could incite—and acquired her own very dark secret.
