Nightmares Can Be Murder

A Dream Club Mystery

Mystery author Mary Kennedy is back with a new cozy series starring “the Dream Club” whose members gather together to explore the meanings of their dreams.

Tracy Blake’s moved to Savannah to help her sister refresh her candy business. Ali, the sister, is also a member of the aforementioned “Dream Club”, which puzzles Tracy, as she doesn’t believe in dreams and portents. One evening one of the members has a dream wherein she sees a dead body – next thing they know, it’s happening for real, when the dance instructor next door is found dead in the same manner as in the dream – only Taylor’s sister is one of the prime suspects.

The members of the “Dream Club” are all delightfully quirky and the personalities are quite diverse. There’s even a little romance involved, when Taylor discovers that her FBI ex-boyfriend, Noah, is now living in Savannah pursuing a career as a PI. Mary Kennedy has done an excellent job and personally, I can’t wait for the next installment! FOUR STARS – ROCCO LO TEMPIO

Dream Team

Business consultant Taylor Blake has returned to Savannah, Georgia, to help her sister Allison turn her dream of running an old-fashioned candy store into a reality. Allison is also interested in dream interpretation and invites Taylor to her Friday night Dream Club, where members meet once a week to share and analyze their dreams.

When a local dance instructor, Chico Hernandez, is found dead in his studio, and the murder scene has an eerie resemblance to one of the dreams shared at their meeting, Taylor can’t help but be intrigued. And when her sister, who was briefly involved with the dance teacher, becomes the prime suspect, Taylor and their fellow club members can’t be caught napping. It’s up to them to dream up a solution to the murder before Allison faces a real-life nightmare.
