One for the Wicked

A Dark Mission Novel, #5

This is the fifth and final installment in Ms. Cooper's Dark Mission series. From the start this series has had it all and I’m sad to see it ending.

The witches were blamed for the earthquakes that reshaped the world. The Church ran the government and sent out hunters to put an end to any witch that was found. The relationship between Kayleigh and Shawn was great. They both had to learn to trust the other. Ms. Cooper has created a dystopian world that is believable. You will be unable to put this book down until you finish the last page. I look forward to what Ms. Cooper will bring us next. I expect it to be phenomenal.

Dr. Kayleigh Lauderdale, daughter of Laurence Lauderdale, head of the research for the church, is working on a cure that is killing witches. This is the research that her mother started and was unable to finish before her death. Now it is up to Kayleigh to find the answers. The resistance also wants the cure and they send in their best agent to kidnap Kayleigh. Shawn Lowe wants to kidnap Kayleigh for a different reason. The church has captured a team of resistance fighters and Shawn wants to trade Kayleigh for his friends. When the earthquakes start again, Shawn and Kayleigh will have to learn to trust each other if they want to make it out alive.

Book Blurb for One for the Wicked

In One for the Wicked, the thrilling finale to Karina Cooper’s Dark Mission series, New Seattle’s witches will rise again...or fall forever.

Shawn Lowe has one mission: to get the cure for what’s killing the city’s witches from Dr. Kayleigh Lauderdale, the daughter of his chief nemesis. He knew the job would be difficult, but what he didn’t count on was their instant, undeniable attraction, a burning desire that neither one can control.

Sexy and satisfying, imaginative and atmospheric, One for the Wicked is a racy page-turner filled with nonstop action and plenty of passion, sure to please  fans of paranormal romance.
