Mate Bond

Shifters Unbound, #7

This is the seventh installment in Jennifer Ashley's Shifters Unbound series. This is one of the best shifter series I have read. I love the interaction between not just the two main characters but all of them. Ms. Ashley brings you characters you can cheer for and I can't wait to see what happens next to the shifters. I like that she expands the shifters world by having different shifter towns and how they all pull together to help one another. Look for the next story, Bad Wolf, out July 4th. It is Broderick and Joanna's story.

The Story:

Bowman and Kenzie have been mated and have a cub but they have never made the mate bond. Their mating was a mating of convenience. But all that they know is how they feel for each other. When a strange monster attacks the shifter bar and Bowman is injured, as his mate Kenzie steps up to lead the hunt for whatever it was that attacked them. When it comes down to it will the mate bond form and save Kenzie or will Bowman arrive too late to not only save his mate but also his son?

Book Blurb for Mate Bond

Together but unbound, they must learn what it means to love completely, in the latest novel from the New York Times bestselling author of Wild Wolf.

To cement the leadership of his North Carolina Shiftertown, Bowman O’Donnell agreed to a ?mating of convenience.” Two powerful wolf shifters, he and Kenzie keep the pack in order and are adored by all. Bowman would do anything to protect Kenzie, for in each other’s arms they’ve found far more than friendship. But as strong as their attachment is, they still haven’t formed the elusive mate bond?the almost magical joining of true mates.

Now with a monster ravaging the countryside and threatening the Shiftertown community, some in the pack fear that a pair without a true mate bond isn’t strong enough to lead. Bowman and Kenzie will have to rely on their instinctive trust in one another to save their Shifters?and the ensuing battle will either destroy them or give them the chance to seize the love they’ve always craved.
