This is the first installment in Kat Martin's The Brodies of Alaska series. I found this story to be very enjoyable. I love a story that will draw the reader into it and this was what this one did for me. The characters and the plot are so well thought out and defined that I had a hard time putting it down. The twist with the ghost story and the history of the hunting lodge was enough to keep me on the edge of my seat. I fell in love with not only the characters but the story itself. I can't wait for the next installment of this wonderful series.
Lane Bishop is an interior designer from LA. She is heading to Eagle Bay, Alaska to remodel a hunting lodge and its cabins. There seemed to be a mutual attraction for each other but neither one wants a long term relationship.
When strange things start happening around the lodge, Dylan and Lane have to team up to get to the bottom of it. When the mystery is solved and it is time for Lane to leave will she be able to? Will Dylan be able to let her go?
