Jamie Kendrick was introduced to readers after being rescued from the wealthy but evil Stanford Reddington in an earlier Last Chance novel. Reece does an amazing job on providing the back story on all of her novels so reading previous novels are not needed but definitely recommended for a true treat and the full enjoyment of this great series. Dylan was the operative involved in rescuing Jamie. He could tell early on that she had feelings for him so he blocked it out and put it down to hero worship for the man she considered her rescuer. Jamie did feel attraction to the sexy agent but it was a two way feeling. Now she has to ignore the physical because her plan involves taking down Reddington before he can do more harm to others and Dylan won't be pleased.
While Noah and her sister assume training will be enough to distract Jamie, our heroine proves them wrong by demanding to go on assignment. Revenge will be hers at any cost. Our hero will have to open his heart and realize that what's between Jamie and he is more than casual sex.
This is another great addition to this series.
Jamie Kendrick went on a trip to hell at the hands of Stanford Reddington, a monster protected by money and power. Now, asking for Last Chance Rescue's help, Jamie makes plans for her revenge. And Dylan Savage, one of LCR's most skilled operatives, is given an assignment he despises but can't refuse-to train the lovely Jamie but thwart her revenge plot at all costs. With tender ruthlessness, he pries open her most intimate secrets, and the attraction they've both tried to deny explodes into a scorching love affair-an affair that Dylan has to end. Months after Jamie stormed away from Dylan and LCR, the two meet again-at the home of Stanford Reddington. In the grips of hurt, anger, desire, and undercover danger, Jamie and Dylan will risk more than broken hearts: they're risking everything to stop an evil fiend from destroying more lives, including their own.
