As always Christy Reece manages to bring something fresh to her contemporary romantic suspense novels. Sweet Justice brings readers back into the world of the Last Chance rescue agency. Honor is competent and assured in her job and has long since gotten over her love for Seth. When she realizes that her latest assignment involves the niece of her ex-lover, she is positive it will not bother her. Seth is a hero that really tugs on a readers heart strings. He has been undercover for years so that he could bring down a mobster. He's lost his friends, family and the only woman he ever loved for his job as a cop. Now the job is complete and he must try and move on with his life. Is it any wonder that he is caught off guard by his ex-lover being the agent assigned to find his missing niece. Wow and wow again. I don't know how Reece manages to create a story that shows the good and bad side of love so realistically and still has you rooting for the characters to be together. The villain in this is wicked for his sheer simplicity in his crimes. He honestly believes he is doing something right and good but his actions are so crazed that you know he has to be brought down.
This is the latest in Reece's Last Chance Rescue series and as with the others can definitely stand on its own. Christy Reece is a fabulous author and this is a romance suspense that is not to be missed. If you haven't tried her yet you are missing out.
