Hot Finish

Fast Track Series, #3

Hot doesn’t say enough. I've read erotica and this is NOT erotica but the love scenes are so passionate and believable.  Erin McCarthy does an awesome job with each scene and I didn’t dare skim any of the good bits.

This is another installment in the racecar series and boy have I been missing something.  Suzanne and Ryder Jefferson have been divorced for two years. Or at least believed they were until a notice from their lawyer reveals that an important stepped was missed leaving them still tied in matrimony. An easy fix of course, except Ryder isn’t too sure he wants to be divorced from his wife...ex wife that is.

Great play on a familiar story line. This was a real page-turner and one that readers will definitely enjoy.  The only down side is that I wish once the conflict was resolved we could have had more interaction with Suzanne and Ryder as a happy couple. There were a few times when I wanted to smack Suzanne and say get over yourself. Ryder is a great guy and your complaints are small and meaningless. Any idiot could see the poor guy was head over heels in love with her. And unless I forget the sex scenes were smooookin'

Book Blurb for Hot Finish

Not all marriages last forever!

Suzanne Jefferson is broke, which is why she’s given up charity work for wedding planning. Fortunately, she has a high-profile client, and best of all, he’s paid in advance. There are just two teensy problems: The bride is a bona fide bridezilla, and Suzanne’s ex-husband is the best man. At least she thought he was her ex-husband!

But this one might…

Two years after their marriage fell apart, stock car race driver Ryder Jefferson still can’t stop thinking about Suzanne. Which is why he isn’t too upset that, due to a glitch, the two are still technically married. Now he’s imagining easing Suzanne’s woes by satisfying her needs in the bedroom. After all, that’s the one room they never argued in. Besides, with wedding bells ringing all around them, Ryder is wondering if,even though they’d quit the race a few laps too early, they can still come on strong with a big, romantic finish!
