Love Sucks!

AJ just found out that her mother is pregnant. Then they discover an ancient prophecy about the baby of a vampire and a warlock. So AJ's family must be very careful to make sure nothing happens to the baby or AJ's mom. But then a horrible accident occurs, her mother and stepfather are injured and taken to the hospital. AJ and her former-boyfriend-now-stepbrother Ryan disagree on how to best protect their family. One disagreement concerns the professional vampire trainers sent to help AJ and her sisters gain control of their vampire powers, especially after AJ starts dating one of the trainers. Will AJ be able to save her mother, make up with Ryan, discover how she fits into her father's plan for world domination, and still make it to prom?

"Love Sucks!" was a new twist on the whole Brady Bunch family. I recommend reading "Bite Me", the prequel to this book, first, before reading "Love Sucks!" by Melissa Francis. Both books were fabulous reads. I have been eagerly awaiting "Love Sucks!" from the moment I finished "Bite Me" and am anxiously hoping there will be another entry coming soon. This is for all those who love the supernatural, such as vampires, witches, warlocks and demons or anyone who enjoys an action-packed, drama-filled story with unforgettable characters.

Book Blurb for Love Sucks!

AJ Ashe may have gotten rid of her vampire stalker and her evil ex-teacher, but things are hardly back to normal. For one thing, she still has to maintain a strict look-but-don't-touch policy with Ryan, her hot ex-boyfriend-turned-stepbrother. For another, she has to learn to control her vampire superpowers—which means more than a few dates with Lex, mind-reading professional vampire trainer and too-sexy-for-his-own-good bad boy. And as if that's not enough, she happens to be the key to her father's plans to take over the world . . . and he'll stop at nothing to get what he wants.

All this and she's still got to plan the prom. Being a teenager is tough, but being a teenage vampire just flat out sucks!
