Never Enough

This is the fourth book of the Brown Sibling Series. Basically it's about falling in love and going through the good and bad times in a relationship. But in this book Adrian Brown is a rock star that has had bad times including stalkers.

Thirteen years ago he had a one night stand and now someone is entering his life. Gillian Forrester sets up a meeting with Adrian claiming that he has a son, which he doesn't take well. Gillian is not the first woman to claim that he is the father of their child. He's had a similar situation happen before and he is sick of being exploited in the media. But as it turns out, Gillian's son Miles is adopted by Gillian from her sister. Gillian's sister actually reveals the father's name on her death bed. This situation causes these two people to meet and fall in love, but not without difficulty. Both Adrian and Gillian have secrets causing trust issues to immerge in the relationship, which in the end they overcome.

This series is a refresher from other books. It tells about REAL relationships of the modern world. It's like the movie the break-up. It relates to real relationships and that there might not be happy endings. Of course this series does have a happy ending, but it keeps you reading more and more about real issues out there and the bravery and insecurities a lot of couples go through. And another side of the life of celebrity's and how they are like us, but everybody knows them.

Overall this book was awesome. There are adult sex scenes that where pretty intense. Lauren Dane did her research and writing well, but in some of the scenes in the books I feel they should have been different. When Adrian calls Gillian a whore I was really pissed off as she didn't do anything about it. She just ended up saying that Miles her son didn't deserve him. Another instance is when her past comes out and tells her he doesn't want her anymore, but they make up. I don't think that should have happened so easily. Gillian forgave him but the way she did it wasn't really to my liking. She should have made him work harder for it, like begging or sticking to her initial plan of not seeing him anymore for like a couple of months. In those months she could have had him work toards not hurting her again. Lauren Dane did a good job in writing this book with emotion and passion. In some scenes I could see what was happening and I wanted to yell, laugh, cry, be very pissed off... etc. When you get that type of response you know it's good.
