Upon the Tide

Ryan Jo Summers' readers set sail on a magnificent adventure with this beautiful romantic suspense. I loved how this story pretty much jumped straight into the action. Piper Kincaid handles the whole robbery with much more aplomb then I ever would. Goodness but she is so calm under the pressure. I enjoyed finding out more of her personality as the story progressed and it explained her actions. Kade Wyatt is perfect for her as he is just as unflustered by the whole incident. I loved the fact that they both have hurt in their past, not for the fact that they were hurt but for the fact that their souls seemed to call to one another. The physical journey itself is so beautifully described I felt as if I were sailing along with them. The locations were lovely and I felt as if the boat was being authentically described without boring me with jargon. The supporting characters added a depth to the story and strengthened my bond with the leading couple. If you are looking for a solid suspense this is a great choice.

Piper Kincaid is a New York fashion designer forced to take a vacation so she heads to Florida for some rest and relaxation. But that doesn't seem to be in the cards when she finds herself involved in a robbery and she and fellow witness Kade Wyatt set sail to escape the thieves who continue to pursue them. Not quite the vacation Piper had been expecting.

Book Blurb for Upon the Tide

New York Fashion designer Piper Kincaid just wanted a pleasant visit with her cousin down in Florida. That was before she and handsome beach bum Kade Wyatt become the targets of a gang of robbers and killers.

Kade simply wanted some fish for his pet seagull. Now he and the lovely exec from out of town are caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse. He's busy concentrating on Piper when he should be focusing on keeping them alive.

Fleeing for their lives aboard Kade’s houseboat, The Hightide , they experience risk, surprises, mystery, and romance during the Great Caribbean Boat Chase. However, the biggest surprises are waiting for them back at port.
