Undercover with the Nanny

Cathy Skendrovich delights with this sensual suspense.

Sawyer Hayes and Kate Monroe are an intriguing couple with undeniable chemistry from the first meeting. I loved that both of these people are definitely not looking for anyone at this point in their life but fate has different plans. Kate has had a rough go of it but she hasn’t become bitter. She just wants to keep her head down and get her life on track. Sawyer is as determined as Kate when it comes to his career and his team. The conflict within him was so engaging I couldn’t put the book down.

I enjoyed the steady build to the climax and how much emotional turmoil Sawyer was under. The tension in him was palatable and yet he couldn’t walk away from his developing feelings for Kate even while he wrestled with her possible criminal connections. I thrilled at the dramatic ending and how everything came together so nicely with a few surprises in a heart racing pace. This is the first story I’ve read by the author and I’m looking forward to being entertained by many more.

The Story: DEA Agent Sawyer Hayes is determined to get his man, a drug kingpin but he hadn’t planned on falling for a possible suspect. Kate Monroe is nanny for a key player in the drug organization. Is she really an unwitting participant, his gut tells him yes. Now it’s up to Sawyer to catch his criminal and get the girl!

But her hot new neighbor could change her mind, with his broad shoulders and Southern charm. Too bad his secrets could destroy her.
