The Haunting of Hotel LaBelle

Sharon Buchbinder pens a hauntingly lovely paranormal romance story.

Tallulah Thompson is a wonderful heroine. She has some unbelievable talents and an unbelievably unique job. I loved that she had her dog Fanny accompany her on the job. It made me feel a deep connection because of her love for her dog.

Her handling of the handsy hotel owner was also fantastic. It’s a shame that this isn’t an unusual occurrence. But she was amazing in her response.

Tallulah is such a mixture of frailties and strength, which is why she was so fabulous with Lucius. He is a strong man with vulnerabilities. It was heart-warming to witness the joy he has at being able to interact with someone after so many years of loneliness.

I loved the interaction with Lucius’s family. I found it truly spiritual and loved how the tale was woven together with the story of the hotel’s transformation.

I’m looking forward to reading more stories of the adventures these two and their special teammates can get up to. I’m fascinated to see what other gifts and abilities abound. If you love your paranormals to be a little more on the unusual side with a twist, this is a definite must read as it combines history, heartache, mystery and mystical happenings.

The Story:

Tullulah is a hotel inspector with the ability to go above and beyond normal issues for her clients. Her latest job introduces her to Lucius Stewart. He is a man caught between the living and the dead. He’s been that way for over a hundred years. So now she wonders if returning him back to a flesh and blood man can save the hotel and her heart.

Book Blurb for The Haunting of Hotel LaBelle

When hotel inspector, Tallulah Thompson, is called in along with her pug, Franny, to investigate renovation delays, she meets an extremely annoyed and dapper turn-of-the-century innkeeper. The only problem is he’s in limbo, neither dead nor alive, and Tallulah and the pug are the first to see him in a hundred years.

Cursed by a medicine woman, “Love ‘em and Leave ‘em Lucius” Stewart is stuck between worlds until he finds his true love and gives her his heart. When he first sees Tallulah, he doesn’t know what he’s feeling. Yet, her stunning beauty, and feisty attitude pull him in.

With the fate of Hotel LaBelle on the line, Tallulah with the help of a powerful medicine woman turns Lucius back into a flesh and blood man. She and Lucius team up to save the hotel, but Tallulah can't help but wonder if he will ever let go of his past love and learn to love again.
